The Main Ingredients of a Fairy Cake Dessert and Fairy Cake Recipes
Everybody loves fairy cakes, whether young or old, big or small,
fairy cakes always hit home with the public, whoever that public may be.
However sooner or later you might become a bit tired of the same recipe
and start looking for ways of diversifying your fairy cake experience.
Here are two fairy cake recipes that will do just that.

For the first fairy cake recipe you will need:
- eight ounces of softened cream cheese
- one egg
- one third of a cup granulated sugar
- one half of a teaspoon salt
- eight ounces of chocolate chips
- three cups of plain flour
- one half of a cup cocoa powder
- two cups granulated sugar
- two teaspoons baking soda
- two cups of water
- two tablespoons of vinegar
- two thirds of a cup vegetable oil
You start by mixing together the cream cheese, the egg, the sugar and
the salt; after that is done set the mixture aside. In a separate bowl
combine the other ingredients and mix well. Prepare your muffin pan and
spoon the batter into each of the spaces until they’re about half full;
then top that batter with some of the earlier prepared cream cheese
mixture. Bake as usual and there you go, you end up with about thirty
fairy cakes with those quantities.

For the second fairy cake recipe you will require:
- three quarters of a cup granulated sugar
- sixteen ounces of softened cream cheese
- two eggs
- one teaspoon of vanilla extract
- one tablespoon lemon juice
- one half of a box of vanilla wafers
- one large can of cherry pie filling
Similarly to the first recipe start by mixing the sugar and cream
cheese in a bowl; once that is done add in the eggs, the vanilla extract
and the lemon juice. It’s ideally to beat the mixture using an electric
mixer till you get it fluffy and light. Prepare your muffin pan and
place on vanilla wafer in each of the spaces and then pour the batter on
top of that until you reach about three quarters of the way up. Bake
these unfinished fairy cakes as normal and allow them to completely
cool, this is when you spread the cherry pie filling on top.
While the fairy cakes made with the first recipe can be frosted with
whichever frosting you prefer, it is best that the ones made using the
second recipe be left plain since that is how you really get to enjoy
the cherry topping.
